The Story of the "The PLC Expert"
My introduction to PLCs began in 1983 while working for the Stanadyne Company in Garrett, Indiana. I worked as a maintenance technician and was learning to troubleshoot production machinery. Most of the machinery control panels were full of relays and we had a few machines with programmable controllers. I had never been exposed to PLCs and I was extremely fascinated by them. I have worked in manufacturing automation as well as control systems which regulate sports stadium irrigation systems. I enjoyed the challenges of each project I was involved in. I bring this knowledge to every training session I am a part of. The participants remark how much they learn from each of my training sessions. I love what I do which is evident in each class I teach.
